Thai Life Insurance has internalized this in their campaign strategy – practically every ad of theirs is a mini soap opera, calibrated to leave you in a puddle of tears. Their latest salvo – Unsung Hero has been doing the rounds on the internet of late, but Thai Life Insurance has been working on perfecting tear-inducing videos for decades. And they seem to have a global following too – some of these videos look like fansubbed VHS prints.
